I consider myself a very blessed woman. And I am grateful everyday for all the little moments that make life amazing. So many of these moments are when my youngest son is in my arms. Landon came into this world a true blue "Mama's Boy." Even now, at 15 months old, when he wants his mama, he WANTS his mama. That red haired temper flickers if he doesn't get what he wants. As I scoop this tiny little boy up into my arms, rest assured, those small arms and delicate hands make their way around my neck... and his beautiful red head rests securely on my shoulder. I never knew how much love my heart could hold until... my red headed, fiery tempered, thumb sucking, monster walking, blue eyed, mama's boy came bursting into my world.

Unconditional
One of the greatest feelings in this world is to be loved... unconditionally.

Beautiful Soul
If there is such a thing as soul mates... which I personally believe there is... and if it is possible for your child to be your soul mate... then Shawn would be mine.
My oldest child and I have always had something "special." It is not something that I can easily describe to an outsider. We are crazily alike. Usually the saying "opposites attract" holds true... but not in our case. Our likeness opens a door for a mutual understanding that gives way to an amazing mother-son relationship.
He is a beautiful soul.... and I am blessed to be his Mommy.

Connor James & Crew
Everyone remember sweet baby Connor James? This summer he celebrated his half birthday already! Talk about time flying. Big guy was all smiles and toothless grins for his 6 month portraits. He is truly a photographer's dream with those baby blues and gigantic grin.
Not only did I have the pleasure of photographing Connor, but his big sister Riley and big brother Owen were here for some "cheesin' it" fun.
After the kiddos had their camera time it was all too fitting to snap a few of one of my best friends, Lindsey. When you see these portraits I just know the song "Isn't she lovely" will come to mind.

Happiness
When you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses. ~Joyce Brothers
Watching my children happy and excited about the little things in life gives a new meaning to my own personal happiness. It is a happiness that grows with each passing day as I am thankful that I was blessed with two spectacular children that allow me to see life through their eyes.
My family's happiness is shown in many ways. The smile on their face in the morning... The quick snuggle in a restaurant booth... The "Mommy what's that!?" questions... The delight that radiates from their faces when we're making blanket tents...
Happiness comes in many forms... but yes, the greatest truly is my family's.

Along with my own children... seeing life through a "pup's eye view" is quite wonderful as well.
