Highlights & Promises

Looking back at the last blog post's date, I felt saddened that I let this part of my photography career slide.  I have wonderful customers and followers!  Not only for them, but for myself, I need to get back on this blog track & update you all from here.  Not everyone has Facebook (where I do most of my updating)... this I have come to realize!

My promise is to pop in and update from time to time.  Rather than silently updating the website with new portraits, I will showcase my wonderful customers & friends here once again.

Meet the Mowrys!

Becky & David came to me last fall for their engagement session.  We had such a fun time goofing around in a cornfield, and staying out until we couldn't see anymore.  If I thought the engagement session was fun... I had no clue what was in store for me at the wedding!

Thank you both, so much, for having me be a part of your incredible day!!  Becky, you looked stunning!  David, I will never, ever, forget your dancing!!

Amanda & Adam// E-Session

First, I would like to wish everyone a VERY Happy New Year!  2012 was nothing short of amazing for Ashley Rawlings Photography.  I truly have the most fabulous clients... it isn't "photo shoots for fabulous hoots" for nothing!  I look forward to what 2013 has in store for us, as I'm sure it is going to be an amazing year!!!

With the hustle and bustle of the holidays, posting has been a little few and far between.  I wish so much I could post every session.  However, this particular engagement session I just HAD to share!  Seriously now, are these two not the sweetest!!! They are both gorgeous, and incredibly kind and genuine!  When I was told we were going to a farm for this session I automatically was giddy.  I LOVE farms & all of the neat photo ops that come with a beautiful country setting.

Another bonus to this session was that all three of us wanted to do a snow session.  Our original date that was set ended up being rained out.  Everything happens for a reason, right?  Well, we had a white winter wonderland to play in after all!!!

Amanda & Adam, thank you so much for being awesome sports out in the cold and wind!  It was so worth it!

 

 

Amanda & Michael// The Wedding

Amanda & Michael's wedding was full of "Oh my gosh, you made that!?", "What a neat idea!!?", "How did you ever think to do that?"

I adored all of the little extras that made each and every detail of this wedding special.  From the writing on the shoes, to the wording stitched inside her dress... it was all very romantic!

The beautiful ceremony took place in a perfect little church in New Berlin.  The reception followed at the charming Lewisburg Hotel.  Everything about this wedding just seemed to fall right into place.  Every detail mapped out & executed perfectly!
