Why Mother's Day?

I remember being a child and wondering why if there was such a thing as "Mother's Day" and "Father's Day" why wasn't there "Kids Day?" And the response that I always received was "Everyday is kids day."

Now as a Mother of two I see why I was told that. Because everyday is kids day. Everyday is devoted to your children and their needs... their wants.

Mother's Day is a beautiful day to celebrate the woman who gave you life and is there through the good and the bad... not only as your mother, but as your friend.

Lindsey is one of those Mothers. I was honored to have a Mother's Day session with her and her three beautiful children: Riley, Owen, and Connor.
